L5G at KTN & UK5G Event: 5G Private Networks for Public Services

Project Director, Rosemary Kay, and Project Health and Social Care Authority, Ann Williams, will be taking part in the KTN event “5G Private Networks for Public Services”, held in partnership with the UK5G SMEs & Regions Working Group.

The event is being held in response to the pandemic, which has shown how services can be delivered remotely, but also highlighted the digital divide and the impact this can have on access to public services.

The interactive online event will provide an exploration into the latest developments in the use of private networks in delivering public services such as healthcare, social care and education

Sessions include a presentation on Connecting Places – UK5G Connected Places Working Group, hosted by Ann and Steve Peel, Director of Reset & Focus! Ltd, and Rosemary and Ann will facilitate break-out discussions on Health & Social Care, and Education, respectively.

This event has been designed to benefit representatives of public bodies and SMEs who want to understand more about how private networks are being developed, and the impact they will have on the way public services are delivered in the future. Taking place online, Tuesday 18th January 10am, you can register for the event here.
