L5G at Connected Britain 2022
Liverpool 5G was well represented at Connected Britain 2022, which is described as ‘The UK’s most important connectivity event’. The event brings together leaders from across the public and private sector who shape Britain’s digital future, and provides a place to understand the technology, regulation, and investment environment for the rollout of next generation networks in the UK.
Liverpool 5G Health & Social Care Lead Ann Williams, Commissioner and Contract Manager at Liverpool City Council, spoke at the session ‘Delivering the UK’s digital healthcare revolution’, which discussed how advanced connectivity could lead to better outcomes within healthcare. Michael Armitage, Founding Director of Liverpool 5G partner Broadway Partners, was a speaker at the ‘How can digital be used to support individuals through the cost-of-living crisis?’ session, which looked at the role digital can play in supporting individuals and businesses, and enhancing collaboration between local authorities and the telecom sector.
