Liverpool 5G take part in 5G World Panel

On Friday, 24th September, Liverpool 5G project leads Rosemary Kay & Ann Williams took part in a 5G World panel, 5G Use in Health & Social Care.

5G World hosted the hybrid event at London’s ExCel, for the 5G ecosystem to share insights, join discussions and network with leaders from across the industry. The 5G Use in Health and Social Care panel session was led by collaboration partners West Midlands 5G lead, Adrian Smith, to discuss the use of 5G solutions in Health & Social Care. Rosemary Kay, project director and director of eHealth Cluster, and Ann Williams, project lead and Commissioning & Contracts Manager of Adult Social services at Liverpool City Council, were asked to join the panel to share their learning and expertise on the applications of 5G in H&SC, having successfully delivered the initial DCMS-funded project, the Liverpool 5G Health and Social Care Testbed, and currently leading the Liverpool 5G Create: Connecting Health and Social Care project, which is building on the initial project’s success.
