L5G Project Director to speak at Hong Kong GIES Event
Project Director Rosemary Kay has been invited to speak at the Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit (GIES), the largest gerontechnology public education event in Hong Kong, on 2nd November 2021.
The event is jointly hosted by the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, and co-organised with the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. Rosemary will co-host the online workshop Ageing in Place with Cutting Edge Technology, along with Kane Sajdak, Co-Founder & CEO of HomeGuardian.ai.
GIES was launched in 2017, and supports education of the general public on various gerontechnology and solutions in GIES, as well as mobilising the elderly and rehabilitation sector, and facilitating pilot services and projects. The event provides a platform for stakeholders to engage in dialogue, and collaborate on broader adoption of gerontech, and drives developments to meet the challenges brought about by an aging population.
Online registration is open until 28th October. For further information about the event, and details on registration, please see here.
