Liverpool 5G Health and Social Care hosts visitors from South Korea

Liverpool 5G health and Social Care hosted an event at Sensor City this week to welcome visitors from a 5G consortium in South Korea.

The South Korean group had come to Liverpool to learn about how the Liverpool 5G team have put together the largest 5G supported health and social care network in Europe. The Korean group have been exploring the use of 5G technology in safe building design. They shared learnings from their own ongoing project and discussed the possibility of developing partnerships with UK practitioners.
Project lead, Professor Joe Spencer recently visited South Korea and delivered a talk about the Liverpool 5G project at a conference exploring 5G technology and complementary emerging technologies.
