Liverpool 5G consortium partners at international Global MBB Forum in London

Liverpool 5G Health and Social Care joined UK5G and the five other 5G testbeds at the 2018 Global MBB Forum at the ExCel in London this week.

Our project leads Rosemary Kay, from eHealth Cluster, and Ann Williams, from Liverpool City Council, delivered a talk about the potential for 5G to positively disrupt how health and social care services are delivered in the UK.

The team answered audience questions about the 5G supported health and social care devices trailed in Liverpool, and the importance of being able to provide affordable connectivity to digitally deprived areas like Kensington so that everyone benefits from health care innovation.  They were joined on the stand by the Digicredis team

Between 2 and 3000 delegates attended the event, from across the globe, over three days.
