Liverpool 5G at the Giant Health Event 2021
The GIANT (Global Innovation and New Technology) Health Event is Europe’s leading innovation festival, which aims to improve the health and well-being of people around the world, by facilitating healthcare innovation and supporting health-tech entrepreneurs and investors. 
The Liverpool 5G project will be well represented at the event, with two speakers from the project taking part in the Telecoms for Health conference.
Simon Fletcher, CTO of Real Wireless and UK5G member, will be speaking at the session “5G Technology – what is it and when is it ready for the various potential use cases? Introduction to the UK5G Health and Social Care Hub and outline use cases.” This will be followed by Ann Williams, Project Health & Social Care Authority, and Commissioning and Contract Manager at Liverpool City Council, presenting the Liverpool 5G project case study “The Liverpool experience – deploying 5G across a city”.
