NHS Liverpool CCG
NHS Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is responsible for planning and buying most NHS services for the people of Liverpool, including the care delivered at hospitals and in community clinics. Since April 2015 they have also had responsibility for GP services in Liverpool.
Liverpool CCG work in close partnership with those involved in providing care in the city, such as local hospitals, and Liverpool City Council, to make sure that NHS services meet the needs of the local population.
As a partner in the Liverpool 5G Consortium, Liverpool CCG will be part of the Liverpool 5G Create: Connecting Health and Social Care project, acting in its role as a commissioner of telehealth services to extend the existing tele-triage systems in care homes to utilise extended bandwidth at low cost.
