Liverpool City Council’s Ann Williams spreads the word about 5G being a ‘tech for good’

Liverpool City Council’s digital lead, Ann Williams, has been talking about the Liverpool 5G project and consortium at a number of technology related conferences this week.

Ann was a speaker at a Telecare Standards Association conference, which attracted delegates from across the telecoms, government and technology sectors. She talked about the importance of 5G technology as a mechanism for positive change in health and social care sectors.

Later in the week Ann spoke to colleagues at Calderdale Council about the challenges and benefits to integrating new IoT devices into council run services, using findings from Liverpool 5G’s Health and Social Care project as examples.
