L5G Project Lead Ann Williams speaking at Digital Leaders Week 2021

Liverpool 5G Create Project Lead Ann Williams will be speaking at Digital Leaders Week, the national initiative promoting digital transformation, leadership and innovation, on 14th June.

The event will feature over 100 sessions and 150 speakers, covering 12 topics, 4 sectors and 12 UK regions. Over the five days delegates will get access to best practice, be able to meet new organisations, develop new ideas and find practical solutions. There will also be the opportunity to build their peer to peer networks to share new thinking.

This year, headline events include: the National Digital Conference in the #DigiLounge, the Impact Conference celebrating Tech for Good, Wales’ Tech Fest, and four Annual Lectures representing the four nations of the UK. Headline partners include all four UK national governments, and leading organisations – from businesses like SAGE and AWS, to not-for-profits including Catalyst.

As well as presenting on the Liverpool 5G Create Project, Ann’s talk will explain the lessons learned and how other organisations can use the new technologies for their own independent stand-alone networks.

Digital Leaders provides a shared professional space for senior leadership from different sectors promoting effective, long-term digital transformation. The community of over 100,000 senior leaders are involved in leveraging technology to promote economic growth, increase social well-being and narrow social gaps.

Robin Knowles, CEO of Digital Leaders said “If you’re a leader in the UK, then Digital Leaders Week is your opportunity to find the ideas, initiatives and services you and your organisation now need in this new digital age. Let’s build the UK’s digital confidence together. It’s important to have a National Week that helps all leaders deliver the digital transformation essential for a positive future for the UK economy and our public services. Digital leadership and how our leaders drive outcomes inside government, enterprise and the third sector is an essential ingredient of UK success.”
