Can 5G Help Defuse the UK’s Health and Social Care Time Bomb?

On 29th April, Liverpool 5G Director Rosemary Kay will be joining the NHS, DCMS, and Dorset Council at a UK5G working group seminar to discuss how 5G can help solve the health and social care issues encountered by the increase in digital services and growing digital exclusion.

The NHS’s Long Term Plan is underpinned by the rise and adoption of digital services, and Local and Regional Authorities are facing the challenges of providing the infrastructure required to adapt to digital delivery. In addition, those on the wrong side of the digital poverty divide are unable to access these digital services, at the detriment to their health, social care and education opportunities.

This event will showcase organisations who are overcoming these challenges, and demonstrate innovative companies, such as Liverpool 5G, who are delivering the urgently required networks and telecommunications technology.  The event will be an opportunity to share best practise from across the UK, provide a platform for organisations to showcase innovative solutions, and provide an opportunity for collaborative working with the NHS & DCMS.
